The 70-meter-long micro water channel on Jalan Kebon Kacang 31, RW 04 Kebon Kacang Urban Village has been normalized.

It is carried out from February 21 and completed on March 29

Tanah Abang Sub-district Executing Unit Head Eli Menawan Sari said the normalization was done by increasing the width of the channel from 30 to 40 centimeters to accommodate water in large quantities.

"It is carried out from February 21 and completed on March 29," she explained, Monday (4/4).

According to her, the work that involved six workers plus a breaker and a generator was conducted manually starting from draining and installing the channel's sheet pile wall.

After it was completed, residents were expected to maintain cleanliness by not littering into the channel.

"Right now, our workers are seen completing the repair of the channel on Jalan Kebon Kacang 38 whose physical work is still 50 percent," she closed.
