Travelers Urged to Comply with Homecoming Travel Provisions

Jakartans who want to take a bus from Lebak Bulus Terminal, South Jakarta for this year's homecoming are advised to comply with health protocols.

Lebak Bulus Terminal Head Hermanto conveyed that his side would check booster vaccination certificates or antigen tests for passengers who want to take a bus from the terminal following Circular Letter No. 16/2022 on Travel Provisions for Domestic Travelers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

"Residents or prospective passengers who want to depart from Lebak Bulus Terminal should have vaccinated with a booster or bring antigen test results for those who receive the first and second doses," he explained, Tuesday (4/5).

Jakarta Prepares Free Homecoming Program for its Residents

His side would not provide antigen test service for prospective passengers at the terminal.

"We don't prepare a counter for antigen test because the terminal is a crossing terminal. Please check (take an antigen test) at the nearest health facilities before departing," he said.

He emphasized that his side had agreed with bus companies to reject passengers who did not comply with the traveling provisions during Eid al-Fitr homecoming flow at the terminal.

"If there are prospective passengers who haven't received booster vaccine and don't have antigen test result, they will be rejected upon departure from the terminal," he asserted.
