Taman Sari Urban Village Office Opens Ramadan Takjil Bazaar

Ramadan Takjil Bazaar is opened at Taman Sari Urban Village Office Courtyard on April 5-24, 2022. There are various snacks and desserts to break the fast (takjil) sold by local MSMEs at the bazaar.

Taman Sari Urban Village Head Abdul Malik stated that the bazaar was held to follow up on Regional Secretary's Instruction No. 28/2022 on various activities, including Ramadan Market in form of Takjil Bazaar in all urban villages.

"10 culinary MSMEs are selling different kinds of food and beverages for breaking the fast at Ramadan Takjil Bazaar," he mentioned, Thursday (4/7).

Ramadan, Semper Timur Distributes Free Daily Takjil to the Needy

According to him, those MSMEs were seasonal takjil sellers in Taman Sari Urban Village who only traded during Ramadan.

"Free of charge for traders who sell their products at the bazaar. In these two days, many people came to the bazaar," he conveyed.

Ani (40), a seller and resident of Taman Sari was grateful to sell at the bazaar.

"There are a lot of buyers and we are not charged for renting a tent. Thank God, the profits can be used for Eid al-Fitr," she expressed.
