Ramadan, Semper Timur Distributes Free Daily Takjil to the Needy

The Semper Timur Urban Village, North Jakarta together with locals collaborated to provide free takjil to break the fast during Ramadan.

Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyo said it was targeting the needy.
"The takjil distributed is a donation from privileged residents in Semper Timur," he expressed, Monday (4/19).
Kebon Pala Offers Free Takjil throughout RamadanHe explained, every day, around 100 takjil packages distributed to underprivileged residents. The contents of takjil were kolak pisang (sweetened banana compote), kolak singkong (sweetened cassava compote), sweet potato, zalacca seeds, various fried foods, lontong (rice cake), sweet tea and mineral water.
He added location for takjil distribution was available in the mosque and musala in each RW in Semper Timur.
"About 100 takjil packages are distributed to the congregation and residents," he told.
He continued that it was very useful to help provide food for the needy during the month of Ramadan.
"InsyaAllah whoever does goodness, will be multiplied its reward. So let's compete in kindness and sow blessings, as well as help those in need," he stated.
