Jakarta's civil servants will be able to go home early during Ramadan following Governor Decree number 292/2022 on Working Hours for ASN during Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD) Head Maria Qibtya disclosed that the Jakarta administration's working hours from Monday to Thursday are from 8 AM to 3 PM, with a break between 12 PM to 12:30 PM. The working hours on Friday will be from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, with a break between 11:30 PM to 12:30 PM.
"We want you (ASN) to work well according to the rules. Fasting is not your reason to be lazy," she said when being interviewed by Beritajakarta.id, Sunday (1/2).

As for employees under the hospital, the Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency and Satpol PP who were required to be on standby for 24 hours, could set their working hours in shifts.
Then teachers or school guards under Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik), each regional apparatus could set working hours following their duties and responsibilities.
She also urged mayors or regents, sub-districts, and urban village heads should be able to ensure public services continue to run as they should.
