The Rawa Kerbau Connecting (Phb) Channel's retaining wall along 42 meters with a height and width of 3 meters on Jalan Letjen Suprapto RT 10 RW 07, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih is seen being repaired by Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency since early April.

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head Achmad Daeroby stated the repair was carried out to follow up on the Jakarta High Court's request on the collapsed retaining wall bordering the court's parking lot in order to prevent landslides.

"We're repairing the retaining wall and also dredging the channel," he said, Thursday (4/7).

The work involved around 25 personnel equipped with crowbars, hoe, two pumps, and breakers.

"The progress has reached 2.5 meters with approximately 14 cubic meters of mud that has been transported. We are targeting the work to be completed in July," he mentioned.
