Booster Vaccination at PGI Grha Oikoumene Provides 400 Quotas Every Day

The third dose or booster vaccination service held at the PGI Grha Oikoumene office, Jalan Salemba Raya, Central Jakarta provides 400 quotas per day. It is open to the public from today until April 28.

It was realized in collaboration with Kenari Urban Village with the health center and Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI).

Kenari Urban Village Health Center Head Somara explained those 400 quotas using AstraZeneca were divided into 200 residents who registered via JAKI app and 200 who came directly.

On the first day, 61 people signed up but only 60 people were injected. Those who were injected consisted of nine elderly people and 51 common people.

"We are sure the next day will be crowded. Moreover, the booster vaccination is one of the requirements for people who want to take homecoming without an antigen test," she stated.

Kenari Urban Village Head Ojoh Juhariah explained it was aimed at accelerating booster vaccination achievements in her area. Thus far, it has been opened in three spots, namely the urban village office, RPTRA, and PGI Grha Oikoumene.

"We are open to the public," she concluded.

Aiko, a resident of Pegangsaan Urban Village who registered via JAKI app admitted she appreciated the vaccination at Grha Oikoumene, as it was close to her house. She hoped that it could boost her immune and safe from Covid-19 considering she had previously been exposed.

"Vaccines do relieve the symptoms. So, I think it is needed for our body," she stated.
