Dishub Deploys Personnel to Assist Traffic Security During Demonstration

The Jakarta Transportation Agency has deployed 100 personnel to assist traffic security in anticipating the impact of the demonstration on Jalan Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta.

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo conveyed a total of 100 personnel were on standby to block traffic flow in Medan Merdeka.

"Road closure is implemented on Jalan Merdeka Timur, Horse Statue area, Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Abdul Muis, especially on Tanah Abang 3 intersection, as well as on Jalan Museum Nasional and in Veteran. We plan to strengthen our troops at some mitigated points where traffic engineering will be carried out," he explained, Monday (4/11).

His side also alerted several mobile variable message systems (VMS) to socialize traffic engineering and several tow trucks to tow vehicles that could potentially cause traffic congestion.

"We also adjust public transportation operations, especially on the roads that will be screened. Of course, the operation of public transportation services and Transjakarta buses will be adjusted according to the route," he stated.

"We have coordinated with Polda Metro Jaya regarding the request for personnel assistance from Jakarta Government, such as Satpol PP and Dishub related to traffic security," he added.

2. Traffic flow from Jalan Merdeka Timur to Jalan Merdeka Utara/State Palace is directed to turn right to Jalan Perwira

4. Traffic flow from Jalan MH Thamrin that leads to Horse Statue Roundabout is directed to turn left/right towards Jalan Kebon Sirih

5. Traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis that leads to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan is directed straight to Jalan Fachrudin. While vehicles from Jl. Fachrudin that want to turn right onto Jalan Budi Kemuliaan is directed straight to Jalan Abdul Muis

6. Traffic flow from Jalan Tanah Abang II that wants to go straight to Jl. Museum to the left or right, the traffic flow from Jalan Majapahit which wants to turn left to Jalan Museum is directed straight to Jalan Abdul Muis, and a traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis which wants to turn right to Jalan Museum is directed straight to Jalan Majapahit

7. Traffic flow from Jalan Hayam Wuruk to Jalan Majapahit is directed to turn left to Jalan Juanda and traffic flow from Jalan Suryopranoto that leads to Jalan Ir. H Juanda is directed to turn left on Jalan Gajah Mada
