December 18, Djarot Inaugurated as Vice Governor

Djarot Saiful Hidayat will be inaugurated as the new Jakarta Vice Governor on December 18, 2014. Its inauguration is scheduled to be held at Jakarta City Hall.

After presidential decree is signed, Insha Allah (God Willing) it will be held on December 18

Djarot disclosed that he met Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama to discuss the inauguration. In that occasion, it would be done after the Presidential Decree signed by the president. 

"Mr. Governor and I discussed on my inauguration preparation. It was consulted and approved. After presidential decree is signed, In sha Allah (God Willing) it will be held on December 18," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (12/11).

Djarot Prepares Document as Basuki's Vice

He acknowledged he and Mr. Ahok can complement each other in leading the capital, even though both have different styles of leadership. "I also have my own leadership style and we complement each other," he expressed.

After the inauguration process, he had a plan to hold a communal togetherness (silaturahmi) with civil servants and Legislative Council (DPRD) members. The aim is to make the vision and mission in developing Jakarta.

"After being inaugurated, I will do silaturahmi with the leadership, DPRD members, coordination with all officials to equate vision and mission in order to quickly complete the task and responsibility," he finished.
