Hundreds of West Jakarta residents received Ramadan compensation from Baznas Bazis at the local mayor's office, on Wednesday (4/20).
Hope it can lighten their burden to meet their daily needs
"The compensation was given to 1,265 people with details of 320 Koranic teachers, 340 Marbot (mosque caretakers), 300 TPA teachers, and 305 honorary teachers," expressed West Jakarta Baznas Bazis Empowerment Acting Head Ibnu.
He explained it was the result of the West Jakarta ZIS fundraising. Each resident received Rp 1 million in compensation which was distributed in the form of a Bank DKI Syariah ATM card worth Rp 700,000 and vouchers worth Rp 300,000 to buy necessities at designated shops.
