The South Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) had managed to collect as many as 338 bags of blood in a blood donation activity which was held from April 5 to 18, 2022.

South Jakarta PMI Chairperson M. Haris conveyed that blood donation activity was intensified in 10 sub-districts during Ramadan.
"It is held in 6 mosques and green open spaces," he mentioned Tuesday (4/19).

"Thank God, people seem enthusiastic about donating their blood after performing Tarawih prayer at the mosque," he said.
Moreover, his side would carry out similar activities in other places of worship.
"We have sent letters to other places of worship to request for holding blood donation," he closed.
