We won't leave you (residents) alone

"This is a disaster and we will immediately take action to help the fire victims," expressed the Governor during the inspection, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Monday (4/25) morning.

According to him, the mitigation process was going well where the basic needs assistance had been prepared to fire victims, ranging from clothing, food, and temporary shelter.

On the other hand, the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency was on standby already to provide population services for victims whose important documents were burned.

"We prepare temporary shelter plus basic needs, food/drink and clothing thus they are not neglected," he explained.

The Jakarta administration also provided assistance to fire victims in the market. Through PD Pasar Jaya, they got a temporary location to sell and venture capital for restarting their business.

"We have prepared 40 kiosks considering there are victims affected in the market, including capital for business" he explained.

To ensure the health of the victims, his party also provided health services, either physical or psychological.

"After this, we also have a recovery service. We have psychological rehabilitation that will help children and adults deal with trauma. This phase is the phase of saving and ensuring their survival thus they are healthy both physically and psychologically," he explained.

He also appreciated the quick response of all parties for a quick mitigation process.

"We won't leave you (residents) alone, we will accompany, help, and make sure all your needs are met. My appreciation goes to community leaders like RT/RW, Sub-district Leaders Forum (LMK), Fire and Rescue Agency, and others who have worked hard to help the victims," he finished.
