Jakarta E-Prix 2022 Organizer Holds Journalistic Competition

The organizing committee for the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 prepared a Journalistic Competition entitled “Formula E: Jakarta E-Prix, an Eco-Friendly Racing Event for a Sustainable World” as part of a series of pre-events leading up to race day.

Government Relations & Communications OC Jakarta E-Prix 2022 Vice President Iman Sjafei said the event was held to celebrate the Formula E: Jakarta E-Prix on June 4, 2022.

"Jakarta E-Prix is part of our commitment to realizing the concept of sustainable living," he expressed, in a written statement, Wednesday (4/27).

The competition requirement for the participants is the journalistic works (news and photos) that are contested have been published in print and online mass media and have never been entered in other journalism competitions.

They must also complete a statement that the work is indeed the work of journalists who register and complete a statement from the Chief Editor or Editor that allows the journalistic work to be entered in the competition.

Lastly, the journalistic work must be sent to the committee's email no later than May 11, 2022. This competition is held in three categories: print media news, online media news, and photojournalism.

News or journalistic photos that can be registered in this competition are those that have been published in the mass media during the period from April 1 to May 15, 2022.

He added the judging process would go through assessment criteria: theme suitability, completeness of the news, adherence to the Journalistic Code of Ethics, journalistic language, depth of discussion, photographic techniques, aesthetics, as well as constructive criticism or suggestions.

The total prize prepared reached Rp 240 million consisting of cash and a travel package to one of the Formula E racing series abroad.

"The required news themes are the sustainable world, renewable energy, environmentally friendly energy, electric vehicles, and Jakarta E-Prix," he stated.
