Transjakarta Extends Tour Bus Service Period Until May 11

The free tour bus service which was originally available until Sunday (5/8), will be extended until Wednesday (5/11).

The number of passengers is predicted to increase, especially on weekend

PT Transjakarta Corporate Communication and CSR Department Head Iwan Samariansyah said the tour bus service period was extended as a response to the high public interest.

There were 17,524 passengers who enjoyed the tour bus service from May 3 to 5 or three days of Eid holiday.

"The number of passengers is predicted to increase, especially on weekend," he said, Saturday (5/7).

According to him, Transjakarta still provides 8 tour buses with a maximum capacity of 80 passengers. The bus has a disabled-friendly design that facilitates wheelchair users to ride on the bus.

"No customers are allowed to stand on the bus for their safety and comfort," he mentioned.

People could enjoy the service for free, from 10:00 to 21:00. Before boarding, passengers would get a ticket from bus attendant.
