Channel on Jalan Marunda Baru Being Widened

The Cilincing Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, North Jakarta has started widening the water channel on Jalan Marunda Baru, RT 13/03, Marunda Urban Village. The channel which previously had 20 centimeters wide will be widened to 50 centimeters.

Cilincing Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Tjahyono Budi Setiawan said the widening was carried out to block the overflowing water that inundates the street.

"Hope the channel can accommodate water in large quantities after the work is done," he expressed, Saturday (5/14).

To smoothen it, he sent six workers plus one unit of breaker to the location, including hoe, crowbar, bucket, and hammer.

"It has been ongoing since April and is targeted to be finished by the end of this month," he hoped.
