The South Jakarta administration has started implementing a traffic diversion policy in Tebet Eco Park area or Tebet Park, Tebet.

This trial traffic diversion is conducted to parse traffic jam along Jalan Tebet Timur Raya and Jalan Tebet Barat Raya.
South Jakarta Mayor Munjirin said it was done, as the Tebet Eco Park often crowded with visitors every weekend.

He explained that there were many empty lands, public housing, schools, and private high-rise buildings that can be used as a parking area for visitors. These included the MT Haryono Building, Mugi Griya, and other buildings on Jalan MT Haryono.
During the pandemic, the park visitors were urged to always comply with health protocols and keep the park clean.
South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Division Head Made Joni added that it will be applied for two days, precisely from today until tomorrow.
"We also plan to make it as a routine agenda every weekend," he explained.
To smoothen it, as many as 50 officers had been alerted at the location. They work in two shifts between 6 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 8 PM.
