Since it was integrated by Jakarta Governor and opened to the public on April 23, 2022, the Tebet Eco Park has become one of Jakartans' favorite tourist attractions in the capital, especially during the Eid holiday.
People are very enthusiastic about visiting the park because this newly inaugurated park is very shady and has many interesting facilities
Based on beritajakarta.id observation on Wednesday (5/3), visitors had packed the Eco Park since 8 AM. Due to a large number of visitors, the park's parking lot was unable to accommodate visitors' vehicles.

According to him, there were more than 1,200 residents who visited the park on the first day of Eid which fell on Monday (5/2). The park had been very busy since 8 AM, or after Eid prayers.
"Yesterday, many visitors thronged the park since 8 AM. They were queuing to enter Tebet Eco Park," he said.
There were also residents outside Jakarta who visited it. One of them was Budi (50), a Depok resident who brought along his wife and children by taking the commuter line.
He got a recommendation from a friend via WhatsApp group about a new park in Jakarta.
"Initially, I got a recommendation from the WA group. Then, out of curiosity, I finally came here with my family. We get off at Tebet Station and then take Bajaj to the location," he stated.
He and his family had tried all facilities and documented their activities at the park, such as walking on the iconic connecting bridge, children's playground, and fitness facility," he explained.
"It is not only beautiful, but we seem to be made one with the nature because there are many trees and plants. It also has complete facilities, such as toilets, a prayer room, and culinary spots which make us comfortable. This matches with what my friend recommended in the WA group," he expressed.
Harry (45), a Pancoran resident had also a similar opinion. According to him, it would be excellent for those who wanted to relax and spend time with their family or exercise.
"It can be an alternative for family vacation and recreation," he mentioned.
There were eight zones that represented nature in the middle of the city. In the north zone, there were Tebet Eco Park Plaza, Community Lawn, Thematic Garden, and MSMEs.
In the south zone, there were also Wetland Boardwalk, Community Garden, Children Playground, and Forest Buffer.
There was also an iconic bridge that connected the north and south zones, namely Infinity Link Bridge. For visitors' convenience, this park was also equipped with a garden speaker, a pet park, and a jogging track.
