Traffic Engineering is Implemented During MRT CP201 Construction Work

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is currently building Monas Station and Thamrin Station which are the part of MRT Phase 2A construction project for Contract Package 201 (CP201) Bundaran HI-Harmoni. Therefore, traffic engineering is implemented during the construction.

Traffic engineering will be implemented on June 6-28, 2021

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director, William Sabandar conveyed, D-Wall construction is included in building Thamrin Station.

Northern area of Bundaran HI is currently preparing shaft launching for tunnel boring machine and dismantling drainage sheet pile.

Jakartans, Here is Traffic Engineering During MRT Phase II Construction

"Traffic engineering will be implemented on June 6-28, 2021," he mentioned, Tuesday (6/8).

Here is the information regarding traffic diversion carried out during traffic engineering;

1. Traffic diversion stage 1-5A on June 6-18, 2021:

a. West side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Kota), in front of Lippo Thamrin Building until Topas Tower returns to be 4 regular vehicle lanes and 1 lane for Transjakarta bus (4+1).

b. East side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Blok M), in front of Frech Embassy, is divided into two; east and west sides of construction site. With configuration of 1 regular vehicle lane on east side and 2 regular vehicle lanes and 1 Transjakarta bus lane on west side of construction site.

c. West side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Kota) in front of Jaya Building is divided into 4 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic lane for Transjakarta bus and regular vehicles (4+1).

d. East side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Blok M) in front of Cakrawala Tower is divided into east and west sides of construction site. With configuration of 3 regular vehicle lanes on east side and 1 lane for Transjakarta bus on west side (contraflow).

2. Traffic engineering stage 1-5B on June 19-28, 2021:

a. West side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Kota) from Lippo Thamrin Building to Bawaslu Building remains the same as stage 1-5A.

b. East side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Kota), from in front of French Embassy to north side of Sinarmas Land Building is divided into two; east and west sides of construction site. With configuration of 3 regular vehicle lanes on the east side and 1  mixed traffic lane between regular vehicles and Transjakarta bus.

c. West side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Kota), in front of Jaya Building remains the same as stage 1-5A.

d. East side of Jalan M.H. Thamrin (towards Blok M), in front of Cakrawala Tower remains the same as stage 1-5A.

"We apologize for any inconvenience during construction work. We also hope road users and public transportation to pay attention to traffic signs and follow instructions from officers on the road," he said.
