South and East Jakarta to See Rain with Lightning and Strong Winds

Rain to fall with lightning and strong winds in East and South Jakarta around late afternoon

The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted light-moderate rain to fall in Jakarta today.

BMKG reported that in the afternoon, moderate rain will fall in South and East Jakarta; light rain in West and Central Jakarta; and cloudy in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Partly Cloudy Expected in Most Regions of Jakarta

"Rain to fall with lightning and strong winds in East and South Jakarta around late afternoon," as quoted from BMKG's official website, Wednesday (5/18).

At night, light rain will fall in South, East Jakarta, and cloudy in Central, West, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands.

Meanwhile, overcast will be seen in most regions of Jakarta, but light rain in Thousand Islands.

Today's temperature could reach 25-35 degrees with a humidity of 65-95 percent.
