West Jakarta SDA Builds New Channel in Kebon Jeruk

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) is building a water channel on Jalan Budi I, RT 15/04, Kebon Jeruk.
The progress has reached 35 percent and estimated to be completed in the next four months
West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Drainage Maintenance Section Head Wawan Kurniawan mentioned that at the location, the channel would be built with a length of 100 meters as requested by residents.
"It is aimed to prevent the road from being inundated when rain falls," he said, Tuesday (5/31).
Channel on Jalan Tubagus Angke DredgedIt has been carried out by 15 personnel since April 4, 2022. Heavy equipment was also alerted to dredge the area with a width of 1 meter and a depth of 1 meter.
"The progress has reached 35 percent and is estimated to be completed in the next four months," he explained.
Kebon Jeruk RT 15 Head Dudi Ahmad Hidayat expressed his gratitude for building a channel in his area which is prone to flooding.
"This is expected to make the area become free from flood and accommodate rainwater to flow into the Sekretaris River," he conveyed.
