Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat did impromptu visits or locally called as blusukan by surveying flood-prone areas in the banks of Ciliwung River from Bidara Cina until Kampung Pulo, East Jakarta, Sunday (12/21). Djarot assessed such flood-prone areas must be normalized as soon as possible, and also urged local citizens to agree relocation plan to the flat.

Regarding river normalization and flat project, he continued, the city administration will accelerate it in 2015 by adding worker.

"We hope all could finish next year," he hoped.

He added the flat would be prioritized to the elder children. He also asked urban village and sub-district heads to immediately to collect citizens' data.

Djarot who is also a PDIP politician uttered people can synergize with the city administration in maintaining Ciliwung River by not throwing trash haphazardly, particularly at the river.
