Connecting Channel on Jalan Anggrek Setiabudi Dredged

The Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit is dredging a connecting (PHB) channel that has a length of 300 meters and a width of 120 meters on Jalan Anggrek in RT 02/02, Karet Kuningan Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district, South Jakarta.

Setiabudi Sub-district SDA Unit Head Retno Wulandari stated the dredging was conducted as requested by residents. The work had been carried out since the last week of May 2022.

"The dredging work has started from May 23 until now. We deploy 6 personnel to dredge mud sediment to the bottom layer of the channel which is 20 centimeters thick," she mentioned, Tuesday (6/7).

He hoped the dredging could optimize the PHB channel's function to accommodate rainwater during heavy rains.

"We also urge people not to throw garbage into the Anggrek PHB channel thus water can flow smoothly," he asserted.
