Five Months, 8,286 PJU Lamps in South Jakarta Repaired

The South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has noted that as many as 8,286 malfunctioned lamps of street lights (PJU) have been repaired in South Jakarta from January to May 2022.

The repair is done to follow up on the Rapid Community Response (CRM) application, Whatsapp, field monitoring, and smart system

Bina Magar Sub-agency Head Heru Suwondo said those 8,286 PJU lamps were spread on some roads spread across 10 sub-districts.

"The repair is done to follow up on the Rapid Community Response (CRM) application, Whatsapp, field monitoring, and smart system," he expressed, Wednesday (6/8).

He explained most street lights had damage to the lamp cable network, LED lamp armature, time switch, cables, contact outlet cable network, lamp ornament handlebar, and twisted air cable network investigation.

"It involves officers from the Section for City Utilities and Public Street Lighting (PSUKPJU) who are on standby for 24 hours," he explained.

According to him, the complaints received by the officers were immediately followed up in a maximum of 1 x 24 hours and had been handled by the team.

"This is done as quickly as possible to provide optimal service to the public," he explained.

Of 8,286 street lights repaired, 1,287 were fixed in January, 1,351 were in February, 2,48 were in March, 1,619 were in April, and 1,681 were in May.

He added that the most complaints that had been repaired from January to March 2022 came from Pasar Minggu Sub-district with 1,218 reports.

"While for complaints about blackouts have been fixed are from Pancoran Sub-district with 508 reports," he added.
