Djarot Not Involved in Civil Servants Reshuffle

Jakarta Provincial Government is finalizing the open-call recruitment for thousands of civil servants. According to the schedule, 6,511 civil servants will be inducted simultaneously on January 2, 2015.

As known, after undergoing series of test, 6,511 civil servants will be inducted simultaneously. Initially, there were 8,011 posts in Jakarta Provincial Government which then cut to 6,511 posts for efficiency. This reshuffle refers to Bylaw No. 12/2014 on Apparatus Organization.
Based on Jakarta Personnel Board (BKD) data, there are five posts competed for echelon 1-B rank, 47 posts for echelon II-A, 48 posts for echelon II-B, 622 posts for echelon III-A, 268 posts for echelon III-B, 2,961 posts for echelon IV-A, and 2,560 posts for echelon IV-B.
Some posts which will be added are Deputy Head of Satpol PP, Deputy Head of Health Department, and Deputy Head of Tax Services Department. As for the post to be eliminated, it is Deputy Head of Tourism and Culture Department.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Public Works Department will be divided into two, namely Highway Public Works Department and Water Management Public Works Department. In addition, Building Control Department will be merged with Spatial Planning Department, and becomes City Planning Department.
