Samsat Jakarta Off for Two Days

Taxpayer service at One Roof Administration System (Samsat) of Jakarta is not operating during the Christmas holidays and collective leave. This is in accordance with the circular letter of Jakarta Tax Office which states the all of Samsat office services is closed on December 25 and 16, 2014.

The services will be reopened on December 27

"The services will be reopened on December 27," said Kompol Ojo Ruslani, Vehicle Registration Section Head of South Jakarta Samsat, Wednesday (12/24).

Therefore, he appealed the vehicle owner which the tax payment due on 25 and 26 December are expected to pay their payment today. Because there is no delay tolerance related national holiday. "We expect, taxpayers with datelines of December 25 and 26 to pay its obligations this afternoon," he added.

Unruly Samsat Officers Will Be Firmly Sanctioned

While related to the New Year holidays, Ruslani said his side has not received the circular letter from the Jakarta tax Department. But on December 31 the sevice will be held for half-day. "On December 31, the service is open from 8 AM to 12 PM," he told.

Niman (40), one of the taxpayer claimed had come today to pay its obligations although the dateline of his Nissan Xtrail B 1395 ZV on 27 December. "I thought the 27th is a holiday. But it is ok, so I can go vacation with the family until Sunday without thinking of paying tax again," he said.
