Around 65 animals who transmit rabies in Menteng Urban Villag, Central Jakarta, received anti-rabies vaccines from the Menteng Sub-district Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Executing Unit, on Monday (6/13).

Of 65 animals vaccinated, 59 are cats and six are dogs

Menteng Sub-district KPKP Executing Unit Head Andi Dala Jemma said the rabies vaccination is one of the government's programs in maintaining Jakarta's rabies-free status.

"Of 65 animals vaccinated, 59 are cats and six are dogs," he expressed.

It involved five officers who consisted of one doctor, two officers from Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, one IPB student, and one officer from Menteng Sub-district KPKP.

"We also get support from sub-district and Menteng urban villages to conduct socialization through RW administrator," he said.
