HMS-ACT Director Arini Retno Palupi explained that stunting is one of the problems in children due to malnutrition in the body which causes the child's body size to be different compared to other children.

To overcome it, a comprehensive and continuous effort was needed, from upstream to downstream for optimal results. That was providing education to women, expectant mothers, pregnant women, and children about the importance of balanced nutrition.

"Mothers and pregnant women have a strategic role in overcoming stunting and realizing stunting-free children," she stated.
