Tens of Houses in Rawajati Submerged

Flooding, sparked by incessant rainfall since Friday (12/26) night until this morning, inundated tens of houses in Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-District, South Jakarta, Saturday (12/27).

As many as 20 houses are flooded due to they located near the Ciliwung River. I hope it can be recede soon

"The rainfall in Bogor and Depok was not heavy last night, because flood water in our village is at the lowest point near the Ciliwung Riverbank," expressed Head of Pancoran Sub-District, Munjirin Rasyid, Saturday (12/27).

Rasyid said the flood is detected at RT 01/07 Rawajati with water level about 20-40 cm. Thus far, there has been no evacuation. "As many as 20 houses are flooded due to they located near the Ciliwung River. I hope it can be recede soon," he told.

Kampung Apung Inundated Again, 4 Houses Collapsed

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, flood also inundates some streets in South Jakarta, such as Jalan Kemang Raya with water level about 10-20 cm, Jalan Fatmawati Raya towards Block M near ITC Fatmawati Store with water level 15 cm. 

Meanwhile, until 10 AM, rain with mild to medium intensity is still showering South Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
