River Overflowed, Jalan Kemang Utara Flooded

Heavy rain that showered Jakarta and its surrounding areas,
has led to overflowing waters in some rivers. One of them is Mampang River that
inundates Jalan Kemang Utara 9, South Jakarta.
Water level has raised since 1 PM after Mampang River overflowed
"Water level has raised since 1 PM after Mampang River
overflowed," told Agus (37), one of grocery item peddlers near the flood
location, Tuesday (11/25).
As quoted by beritajakarta.com, until 3.30 PM, the water
level has touched 70 cm. Its water condition is very dirty and black, and bring
trash pile that swept away from Mampang River.
Due to this condition, Jalan Kemang Utara 9 cannot be passed
by vehicle. Whereas, the road is an access road connecting Jalan Mampang Prapatan
towards Kemang and Jalan TB Simatupang. Yet many motorcycles broken down after
the owners recklessly pass through the inundation.
Similar condition is also spotted in Krukut River that has
inundated citizen residential on Jalan Bank, Pela Mampang, with water level
between 30-70 cm. "It has been going on since all night and has receded
gradually," said Bambang (37), one of citizens in RT 05/07 Pela Mampang.
