Dishub Mobilizes 236 Personnel to Manage Traffic around JIS

As many as 236 personnel of the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) personnel have been deployed to manage traffic flow around the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) during the peak of Jakarta Hajatan event tonight.

And for motorists with other activities can find alternative routes

Jakarta Dishub Head Syafrin Liputo said temporary road closure was set from 14:00 to 21:00 in three locations, namely railroad crossing on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya - Jalan RE Martadinata; intersection of Jalan Sunter Permai Raya - Jalan Bisma Raya; and intersection of Jalan Danau Sunter Barat - Jalan Danau Sunter Utara.

"Vehicles that are allowed to pass are public vehicles, vehicles owned by residents who live near JIS, as well as VIP and VVIP vehicles," he conveyed.

He also operated a Variable Message Sign (VMS) to direct and convey information to road users regarding the road closures. In addition, tow vehicles were also prepared to control vehicles that cause traffic jams.

He appealed to people who already have tickets for the peak of Jakarta Hajatan at JIS to take public transportation.

"And motorists with other activities can find alternative routes," he stated.
