The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency holds Jakarta Tour to enliven the Jakarta Hajatan (Jakarta Celebration) 2022.

Jakarta Parekraf Agency's Marketing and Attraction Division Head Hari Wibowo mentioned that Jakarta Tour was held in collaboration with Jakarta Good Guide, Transjakarta, and the sports community.

"We want to introduce the New Face of Jakarta, Jakarta as a Global City and a City of Collaboration. Besides, we want to add education and sports elements to it. We will also modify the route thus it doesn't seem monotonous and participants don't get bored," he explained, Wednesday (6/8).
In detail, the Running Tour route starts from Senayan Complex - Kebayoran Baru - Jalan Senopati - SCBD area with a distance of 10 kilometers.
The Running Tour participants will stop or take a rest every 2.5 kilometers to lower their heart rate and refill their drinking bottles at the water station that has been provided.
"When they stopped, a tour guide will explain to them about historical objects that they have crossed. After the heart rate drops, they will continue to run again," he added.
As for Walking Tour, the route will start from Lapangan Banteng - Jakarta Arts Building - Jakarta Cathedral - Istiqlal Mosque.
In Walking Tour, participants will be invited to review the history of the area and the number of cultural heritage buildings along the route.
"While walking for two kilometers, participants will be introduced to the history of the area and cultural heritage buildings encountered, including urban and iconic tourism in Jakarta," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, the Cycling Tour will cover a distance of 12 kilometers starting from BTN Harmoni Tower - Kota Tua Fatahilah Square - Sunda Kelapa Harbor - Pecenongan Bus Stop.
"The tour guide will also ride a bicycle equipped with a loudspeaker. The briefing will be carried out before cycling," he uttered.
Transjakarta bus fleets would be also provided for Jakarta Tour participants after reaching the finish line.
For information, the Jakarta Tour is open to the public with a registration fee of Rp 100,000 per person per activity. People who are interested to join can register at bit.ly/JakartaHajatanJGG.
"By paying Rp 100,000, participants will get snacks, documentation service, pacer captain for Running Tour and bike marshall for Cycling Tour," he closed.
