Meriahkan Jakarta Hajatan ke-495, Pemprov DKI Gelar Konser Gratis

Free Concert for Jakarta's 495th Anniversary on Saturday Night, Be There!

The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) collaborated with Plus Jakarta to hold a free concert in abid to enliven the upcoming Jakarta's 495th anniversary.

We have some famous musicians

The concert titled, 'Tenteram Jiwa dalam Suara' (serene soul in sound) will be held on Saturday (6/11), 2022 at 7 PM at the Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cikini, Central Jakarta.

Parekraf Agency Head Andhika Permata said that as a city branding that focuses on resident collaboration, his party would raise the issue of self-validation as the main point of view and message in this 150-minute concert.

"Herein, we have some famous musicians namely Yura Yunita, Sal Priadi, Dere, and Mocca, who will present works with self-validating narratives and are ready to invite the audience to hum with a curated composition of songs," he expressed, in Jakarta, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (6/9).

Plus Jakarta Operational Director Wiliam Reynold expressed that this concert is a real act of the collaborative spirit that has been echoed and a concrete manifestation of the Jakarta Hajatan (celebration) theme: Collaboration, Acceleration, Elevation.

"This is clear evidence of collaboration between the city and between elements, which in this context are artists/musicians to take part in making a positive impact on residents to celebrate and have self-validity. So, Jakarta, which is holding a 'Hajatan', is not only oriented to elevating the city but all residents," he explained.

He continued that what makes this concert unique is that Jakartans can join a journey to know, appreciate, and love themselves with their favorite musicians. There would be three segments shown that took viewers on a journey to “Hargai Diri" (know yourself), “Hargai Diri" (respect yourself), and “Sayangi Diri" (love yourself).

Hopefully, it could give a meaningful and different experience in the Jakarta Hajatan series.

As for the information, the concert itself was designed by the Parekraf Agency together with drafters John William Chandra, Fikri, and Khalillah.
