Peak of Jakarta Hajatan, Music Concert Entertains Crowd at JIS

Thousands of residents have been seen crowding the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta since the afternoon. They came to enjoy the peak of the Jakarta Hajatan event which is enlivened by famous singers and music bands, such as Ungu, Padi, Mahalini, Saykoji, and others.

I'm happy to enjoy a free music concert

One of them is Clarissa (19), a resident of Kemayoran admitted that she arrived at JIS with friends at 4:30 PM. They did the registration yesterday via the JakLingko application which was then exchanged for the entrance ticket.

"Registration is very easy, Alhamdulillah I still got a ticket. I want to watch Mahalini's performance live,"she admitted.

The same statement also came from Juna (24), a resident of Cilandak, South Jakarta. He was happy, as he could come to JIS with Transjakarta for free.

"I'm here to see the performance of the Ungu and Padi bands. I'm happy to enjoy a free music concert," he concluded.

The same joy also came from Reni, a resident of Tanjung Priok who came with her brother and sister. She found out about the event via social media Instagram.

"It's really nice to watch live music. Even though it's free, the queue is orderly. Happy Jakarta's 495th anniversary," he stated while smiling.
