A total of 495 communities and students will enliven Jakarta's 495th anniversary at Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC), Koja, North Jakarta, on Wednesday (6/22) morning.

The chairman of the Jakarta Hajatan JIC event committee M. Arif Syukur explained that various events would be held to commemorate Jakarta's anniversary, namely Istighosah Kubro which would be led by the Imam of Jakarta Islamic Centre Great Mosque KH M. Subkhi.
The mass prayer at JIC Hall would invite scholars, community leaders, representatives of the Indonesian Ulema Council, Indonesian Mosque Council, Indonesian Waqf Board, and thousands of students from several schools in Jakarta.

"We are trying to motivate young people, especially students in Jakarta, not to be afraid to dream and aspire as long as there is a strong will to achieve them," he asserted, Tuesday (6/21).
The event would be enlivened by a Tumpeng decoration competition with the theme of Jakarta's 495th Anniversary.
