Perumnas Klender Market Provides Cashless Payments

The cashless payment in the market was launched by Bank BRI and Bank DKI, on Monday (6/27).

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar accompanied by Bank DKI Retail and Sharia Director Babay Parid Wazdi; Bank BRI Division Head Yufrizal; East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head Parulian Tampubolon; and other officials, conducted a working visit to the market.

City Launches Jakarta One Card

At that time, the mayor was visiting several stalls and making a dialogue with traders and visitors on the second floor and ground floor of the market. He hoped the community could take advantage of the efficiency of this digital transaction acceleration.

"This digital launching is the first time. To touch the wider community, we are also going to try the same system in other markets soon," he explained.

With the cashless transactions, he continued people would be safer and can control spending money.

"Of course, with this system, we can control the desire to shop more," he continued.

Jon Ferdian, one of the shoe traders on the ground flood admitted that it was very helpful, as it could anticipate the circulation of counterfeit money and help security.

"This is very helpful in terms of security, the money goes directly into the account," he concluded.
