Mass Pray will Start the Jakarta Night Festival

New Year's Eve will take place in the next few hours. However, the celebration of Jakarta Night Festival (JNF) is not only will be filled with entertainment, but also begins with prayer for the victims of AirAsia QZ8501.

Each stage will start the event with prayer

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat, said, though there is celebration, but the visitors area asked to pray for the plane crashed victims.

"Indonesia is in grief condition now, after Banjarnegara landslides disaster, now AirAsia plane crashed. Each stage will start the event with prayer," said Djarot, Wednesday (12/31).

He also invites all capital residents not to celebrate new year excessively. He hoped Indonesia, especially Jakarta, will be free from any disaster.

Meanwhile, the event security will begin at 5 PM to 1 AM by City Police. As planned before, Djarot together with Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and City Police Chief Unggung Cahyono will celebrate new year at JNF along Bundaran HI to Monas.

They will gather from governor official residence on Jalan Taman Suropati No 7 Menteng, Central Jakarta. Then, they will walk from the Bundaran Hotel Indonesia to Monas, to attend the launch of 2015 Wonderful Indonesia by the Tourism Minister, Arief Yahya.
