West Jakarta's Poor and Mustahiq to Receive Bamboo Baskets Filled with Qurban Meat

Those baskets filled qurban meat will be dedicated to the poor and mustahiq (the recipient) in West Jakarta

The West Jakarta Baznas Bazis announced to provide 15,000 bamboo baskets, locally known as bongsang to pack and distribute qurban (sacrificial cattle) meat in this year's Idul Adha (Day of Sacrifice).

"Those baskets filled qurban meat will be dedicated to the poor and mustahiq (the recipient) in West Jakarta," expressed West Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator Heru Normanto, Thursday (6/30).

Of 15,000 baskets, 5,000 would be distributed through the city level, 2,000 were through the Korpri administrator, and 8,000 were to eight sub-districts.

"Its distribution will be carried out on D-3 of Idul Adha. Two days ago, we also provided 10 tarpaulins for the qurban committee," he stated.
