The Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency has determined the procedures and requirements for sacrificial animals to be distributed to Jakarta ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Adha 1443 Hijri.

As an effort to prevent PMK, we have set requirements and procedures for sacrificial animals that enter Jakarta

In the policy, sacrificial animal traders were required to obtain livestock entry permits following the applicable regulations.

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head Suharini Eliawati mentioned that sacrificial animal traders could get livestock entry permits by accessing jakevo.jakarta.go.id.

This policy was taken because Eid al-Adha 2022 coincided with the emergence of the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD).

FMD is a contagious animal disease that spreads quickly and can cause very high economic losses.

"To prevent PMK, we have set requirements and procedures for sacrificial animals that enter Jakarta. Livestock distribution to Jakarta is no later than June 24, 2022," she conveyed, Thursday (6/2).

The following are requirements that should be met by sacrificial animals traders:

Administration

- Application Letter: applicant's name, address, technical report (type, quantity, type of transportation, origin of livestock, and destination)

- ID Card and NPWP of the applicant

- SIUP/NIB/Business Permit from the area of origin

- A stamped statement letter from the POV at the regional office of origin stating that the livestock are not from the outbreak area, are not infected and suspected of having FMD

- A stamped statement letter stating that the applicant reports the arrival and submits the SKKH/Veterinary Certificate accompanied by the ISIKHNAS number and recommendation for releasing livestock from the area of origin to the local KPKP Sub-agency

- A stamped statement letter to carry out a 14-day quarantine and provide isolation cages, conditional slaughtering and boiling places

Technical

- Availability of isolation cages, quarantine cages, conditional slaughtering places, and boiling places (offal, head, feet, and tail)

- The applicant can coordinate with the local KPKP Sub-agency before applying for a permit by contacting:
