Satpol PP Personnel to Guard Idul Adha Mass Prayers at JIS

The Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) will be deploying 400 of its personnel to ensure public security during the Idul Adha mass prayers at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta on Sunday (7/10).

We also get support from the national army, police, Transportation Agency, Fire and Rescue Agency, Health Agency, and Environment Agency

Those personnel will be on standby inside and outside the stadium, including around the railroad crossing.

Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin explained they were assigned to direct the placement and supervise the traffic flow of the Idul Adha prayer congregants, including calling on them to implement health protocols and scan QR codes via the PeduliLindungi application before entering the stadium.

"We also get support from the national army, police, Transportation Agency, Fire and Rescue Agency, Health Agency, and Environment Agency," he added, Friday (7/8).

So, he appealed to residents who will perform Idul Adha prayers at JIS to use public transportation such as Transjakarta buses and JakLingko.

"This is for the sake of order, security, and mutual comfort," he stated.
