Governor Hand Overs 1.2-Ton Cow for Sacrifice at JIS

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan handed over a cow for qurban (sacrificial) to the qurban committee at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, on Sunday (7/10).

Allow me to hand over a 1.2-ton cow to the committee this morning

Previously, the Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency had examined the cow and declared worthy of sacrifice.

"Allow me to hand over a 1.2-ton cow to the committee this morning," he expressed, after performing the Idul Adha prayer at JIS.

As for the information, the cow from West Java was examined clinically, physically, and following Islamic law.

"By saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, we hand over this Qurbani animal to the committee for distribution in Jakarta and its surrounding . InsyaAllah, with this qurban, our reward will be doubled," he closed.
