3 Former Department Heads Demoted to Deputy Staff

Mass reshuffle initiated by Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama makes several department heads demoted as staff of Governor Deputy. They are Head of Transportation Department Muhammad Akbar, Head of Tax Service Department Iwan Setiawandi and Head of Housing and Government Buildings Department Jonahtan Pasodung. 

They (department heads) will be placed in the Deputy

City Secretary, Saefullah acknowledged his party is discussing on the positions for department heads who have been demoted. They will be assigned to assist the deputy, but its field still not yet determined. "They (department heads) will be placed in the Deputy," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/7).

Saefullah stated, those are not worked in a team consisting nine members of the Governor's Team for Development Supervision (TGUPP) due to it is full.  All members come from department head who was demoted from their post. "That's why they may not be transferred to such team," he explained.

Jokowi to Reshuffle SKPD Heads for the Last Time

Former department heads transferred to the TGUPP are I Made Karmayoga, former head of Jakarta Regional Employment (BKD), Acting Deputy of Spatial Planning and Environment as well as Secretary Indonesian Civil Servants Corp (Korpri) Sugeng Irianto, and Assistant Secretary for Development Section Wiriyatmoko.

According to him, the difference of former echelon-II officials who demoted or transferred to TGUPP lies on the magnitude of the Regional Performance Allowance (TKD) per month. "Most experienced officials will be transferred to the TGUPP," he disclosed.
