Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of July 17

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of July 17, 2022.

3T efforts continue to be intensified

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated that the number of active cases in Jakarta today decreased by 327 cases, bringing the number of active cases to 13,717 (people who are still being treated/isolated).

"Meanwhile, 3T efforts continue to be intensified, in addition to the COVID-19 vaccination which is also still ongoing with a wider scope," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Sunday (7/17).

For the vaccination program, the current total dose of 1 is 12,575,907 people (124.7%), with a proportion of 70.6% residents with Jakarta ID cards and 29.4% residents with non-Jakarta ID cards. Then 812 people received the first dose.

The total vaccination dose 2 now reached 10,746,068 people (106.6%), with a proportion of 73.9% residents of Jakarta and 26.1% non-residents of Jakarta. Then 834 people received the second dose.

The third dose (booster) vaccination was also carried out. The updated total third dose was 4,253,450 people and the number of people who get vaccinated with the 3-day dose was 14,829 people (Note: data on the number of vaccinations for the third dose was recorded to be lower due to difficulties in retrieving data from the KPCPEN dashboard.

The Jakarta administration urges residents to always wear masks when outside the house, especially in public places. They are also urged to immediately complete the COVID-19 vaccination with a booster.

To get the vaccine, residents can go to the vaccination site. However, to speed up vaccination, they must register online via the JAKI app or corona.jakarta.go.id/vaksinasi. By registering online, they may choose the schedule and place of vaccination themselves, as well as be able to pre-screening online tests.

To find vaccination centers, you can access the Google Maps application, by writing "vaksin COVID-19".
