Persija: We are Ready to Succeed JIS Grand Launching

The Persatuan Sepak Bola Indonesia Jakarta (Persija) is ready to enliven the Grand Launching of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), which falls on Sunday (7/24) evening. They are scheduled for a friendly match against Thai League 1 club Chonburi.

Media and Membership Engagement Chief for Persija Benhard Sitorus stated that even though it was a friendly match, Persija's squad would show the best game

"Despite we have a match with Bali tomorrow, we will give our best against Chonburi on Sunday," he expressed, Friday (7/22).

Jakmania Invited for Covid-19 Booster Vaccination

He explained that around 40,000 fans of Persija, dubbed The Jak Mania would watch the match live at JIS.

"I urge them to continue to comply with health protocols for the common good and hopefully they have got a booster," he explained.

Even, those who have yet to get vaccinated could enjoy vaccination services at JIS that has been ongoing since Wednesday from 1 PM to 9 PM.

He also urged them to be orderly and maintain all the facilities as a stadium for the pride of Jakarta residents.

"This is because the stadium will be the pilot project for Persija's home ground," he stressed.

He added that Persija is part of Jakarta thus his party continues to be committed to collaborating with the Jakarta administration.

"We'll give full support, including its relation to football coaching in Jakarta," he stated.
