Violating Domicile, Pondok Bambu Flat Occupants Controlled

Jakarta Provincial Government will control the flat residents who their ID card are not appropriate with the domicile. Allegedly, many of flat occupants violate this regulation.

50 percent out of 200 units of Pondok Bambu flat residents' ID card have no appropriate domicile

Jakarta Head Dept. of Population and Civil Registration, Edison Sianturi, said his side will conduct free ID card service to solve this problem.

"50 percent out of 200 units of Pondok Bambu flat residents' ID card have no appropriate domicile. We'll control them for sure," he said, Saturday (1/10).

500 Blocks of Flat Provided Next Year

Jakarta Dept. of Population and Civil Registration together with Dept. of Housing and Regional Government Building will hold the control. The empty unit or given to other will be directly sealed, and the occupants must leave the unit.

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Housing and Regional Government Building Department, Ika Aji Lestari, explained such control will be held in all rent-flat in Jakarta. in Pondok Bambu flat, there are 47 units did not re-confirm to Housing Department. They were rarely occupying the units.

 

"The empty unit or moved to third party will be occupied by other residents, especially those who were relocated from riverbanks," she uttered.
