National Child Immunization Month Program in Cilandak Targets 12,030 Toddlers

The National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) targets 12,030 toddlers aged 5 to 59 months to participate in immunization at the Pola Idaman RPTRA, Gg. Swadaya, RT 13/01, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta. Its immunization was realized in collaboration between the South Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) and Health Ministry (Kemenkes).

Hope it can run maximally

Cilandak Sub-district Head Djaharuddin supported the immunization held simultaneously in each urban village and lasted for a month.

"Hope it can run maximally. Mothers who have toddlers aged 5 - 59 months to join our immunization program," he expressed, Monday (8/1).

Governor Promotes Complete Immunization for Children at 2022 World Immunization Week

Cilandak Sub-district Health Center Head Maryati Kasiman added that it was conducted to achieve and maintain high population immunity.

It also aims to stop the local transmission of the measles and rubella virus in all sub-districts and cities in the territory of Indonesia by 2023, including getting measles and rubella/CRS elimination certification by 2026 from SEARO.

"This is also to prevent disability due to measles, polio, pertussis, rubella, diphtheria, hepatitis B, pneumonia, and meningitis," she stated.
