DPRD: We Scheduled to Pass 2015 APBD in February

After signing city's budget priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS) City Budget of Rp 73 trillion, Jakarta City Council (DPRD) directly scheduled the plenary meeting of draft bylaws (Raperda) of Jakarta City Budget (APBD) 2015. It is expected the 2015 City Budget could be passed on 16 February.

City Council Head, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi said the plenary meeting which is held today is scheduled for Basuki Purnama Tjahaja Governor's speech on 2015 Capital Budget draft.
"Yes, today we will hold the first plenary session. We will hold around four plenary sessions later. This includes the plenary meeting of 2015 city budget approval," he said when contacted on Monday (1/12).
BPKD Optimistic the 2015 APBD Ratified SoonMarsudi revealed, his side also targeted the Raperda passed into a law on 16 February, 2015.
"We expected everything to complete in February. We've scheduled the City Budget will be passed on that day," he said.
He added, after the first plenary meeting, his side will hold the second plenary meeting on Wednesday (1/14) with the agenda of the faction’s general view of the 2015 Capital Budget draft.
Marsudi continued, the fourth or last plenary meeting will be held on Monday (2/16) with the agenda of ratification of Raperda APBD into 2015 APBD law
"The time span of the third plenary meeting to the fourth plenary session is quite long, because we will continue the budget discussion at the commission, Budget Agency, and fractions during this period," he continued.
He explained, the Raperda of 2015 city budget discussion at the level of the commission, is scheduled to become effective on January 19 to 22. On January 26 to 27 is followed by a draft discussion by Jakarta Local Budget Preparation Team (TPAD).
"After that, the leaders hold a joint meeting of the City Council on January 28. Then the discussion of 2015 Capital Budget draft is continued at the level of the fraction on January 29," he explained.
According to him, the results of the draft budget discussion at the level of the fraction will be taken in the second leadership meeting of the City Council that is scheduled on January 30. From the second meeting, TPAD and Jakarta Financial Management Agency (BPKD) will develop activities account code in the draft budget 2015 ranging from 3 to 13 February.
"After all is done, the new city budget in 2015 can be passed on February 16," he disclosed.
