2015 RAPBD Targeted at Rp 63.8 T

The increase in the taxes and levies will be focused on five steps

The city administration is targeting local revenue amounting to Rp 63.8 trillion of total the 2015 City Budget Draft (RAPBD) worth Rp 73.08 trillion. The target will be maximized with five steps.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama disclosed local revenue in the 2015 RAPBD is directed at increased taxes and levies. The city administration has set up five steps to achieve such target.

From target by Rp 63.8 trillion, he predicts the local revenue to contribute as much as Rp 45.32 trillion, fund balance Rp 11.40 trillion, and another legitimate revenue Rp 7.07 trillion.

"The increase in the taxes and levies will be focused on five steps," he stated in the plenary session in the City Council (DPRD) building, Monday (1/12).

Ahok added, the first step has been prepared to maximize the target, which is by increasing motor vehicle's progressive tax rates up to 150 percent this year. 

"The second step is we plan to adjust the Land Value Zone (ZNT) and to update the Urban and Rural Land and Building (PBB P2)," he added.

Third step, he continued, is by increasing the entertainment tax rates on certain types of entertainment. Fourth, is by improving the taxpayer numbers which can be monitored online. Last step is by perfecting legal foundation and law enforcement for taxes and retribution imposition.

"Additionally, our target also lowered or lowest up to 1.91 percent than the target of 2015 APBD Amendment," expressed Ahok.
