Transjakarta Adds 1,801 Operational Service Officers

Transjakarta added 1,801 operations service officers after passing through open recruitment from August 2 to 7, 2022.

Transjakarta Secretary Division Head Anang Noor said it was part of an effort to strengthen customer safety and comfort.

He explained that it was also one of the efforts made to minimize acts of sexual harassment in public transportation and the response from Transjakarta to the aspirations of customers who expect optimal service.

Hopefully, it could help prevent and move quickly to deal with unwanted things on the bus.

"They are ready to help if customers feel there is a security and comfort problem. We urge customers to report for further action," he concluded.

According to him, it also opened up new jobs. The basic qualifications that need to be met in recruiting these officers include a minimum of high school education or the equivalent, physically, and mentally healthy.

"This recruitment process is free of charge," he added.
