W. Jakarta Administration Prepares Logistics of Flood Victims

West Jakarta Administration prepares the logistics to ease the citizen’s burden if the flood comes. As many as 10 ton rice and other foods have been prepared by West Jakarta Social Sub-Department besides the other facilitation and infrastructure.

Ika Yuli Rahayu, West Jakarta Social Sub-Department Head said, to anticipate flood, her side has prepared many logistic besides the infrastructure and the personnel. The logistics that have been prepared are 10 ton rice, 1,000 instant noodles boxes, 2,400 sardines cans, 1,000 ketchup bottles, 1,000 baby porridge boxes, 1,000 mineral water boxes, 1,000 biscuit boxes, and 2,000 liter cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the government also prepares aid in clothes form such as house dress, man and woman underwear, towel, and school uniform.

50 Rubber Boats Provided to Face Flooding in E. Jakarta

" Generally, all requirements for the flood victims have prepared. But if the amount still not enough, we will add the number ," said Rahayu, Wednesday (1/14).

For supporting facilities and infrastructures, she prepared 2 rubber boats, 1 dolphin boat unit, 1 ranger car unit, 1 public kitchen car, 1 operational car, 1 generator, 1 water tank car, 9 set of public kitchen appliances, 5 refugee tents, and 2 family tents and independent kitchen in every sub-district and urban village amounted to 64 units.

"Besides that, we also prepare around 3,000 people, start from Tagana, Pokja, Kesuma, Satgas, social organization, and others," she disclosed.
