The 2022 National Jamboree XI, officially opened at the Cibubur Campground (Buperta), East Jakarta, on Sunday (8/14).

The activity attended by 9,730 participants from 34 teams of Scout Movement Regional Quarter (Kwarda) was opened by National Quarter (Kwarnas) Chief Komjen Pol (Ret.) Budi Waseso, accompanied by Jakarta Welfare Assistant Uus Kuswanto.
According to Kuswanto, it is the result of the collaboration of the BUMN Ministry, local governments, BUMD, and other stakeholders. As the host, the Jakarta administration facilitated all the needs of the contingent from 527 regencies and cities that participated in it.
"We are proud to be the host again. Hopefully, this can run smoothly, safely, and comfortably," he exclaimed.
Community Service Kwarda Jakarta Vice Head Ratiyono added that there were 19 regional government working organizations (OPDs) involved in following their respective main tasks and functions.
Since last February, the Jakarta Bina Marga Agency has been helping to equalize land for camping areas and improve road access at the main gate.
Then the Environment Agency's Water Body UPK cleaned the reservoir area for water adventure activities, the Transportation Agency (Dishub) prepared 20 Transjakarta buses and 34 school buses to support tourism education activities.
Then the Health Agency (Dinkes) prepared medics and ambulances.
"This is a real form of support," he concluded.
He added that the administration sent six teams, consisting of eight boy scouts and eight girl scouts, as well as a companion team.
